IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL TRANSITION KICK STARTS AS ASPIRANTS PICK NOMINATION FORM.

The Ijaw Youth Council has commenced sales of nomination forms to  qualified and interested members to pilot the affairs of the Ijaw Youth Council. 



Just as stipulated in the electoral guidelines and activities for the transition process the electoral committee have started receiving payments from different aspirants who have shown interest to contest in various positions in Council.

Today, Comrade Tina Tobusi picked her form to contest for the position of The National Woman Leader in Council  at   TEEBILOS HOTEL, off  Refinery Road -Warri. The designated  secretariat and nomination form sales post.

Comrade Tina Tobusi is an active comrade in council and she hails from Isaba clan.

In her words to kpooka media immediately after she picked her form she said that her interest to run for the position of the woman leader is to strengthen the women fold in the activities of council and bridge the gap in the participation of women activities in council.

She has promised to play a vital role to make a difference if she is given the opportunity to serve.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
