The winner of the Miss Bomadi Local Government  beauty pageant tagged Miss BOLGA ,Miss Serena T Ogodobiri is set to launch her girl child education foundation in days to come. Miss Serena Ogodobiri who is also a medical student at the St Gregory University Abia State,said that it is time she gives back to the society with the little she has learnt so far and with the support from sister organisations like the Badoukumor Foundation that it is time to launch this foundation,she said she  is sure of bringing her vision to limelight. The Ijaw Youth Vision honoured the Bomadi Local Government Council Boss Hon William Angadi with the "most outstanding and performing chairman"award. The award which was given at the 11th edition of the Ijaw Cultural festival in Bomadi. When Presenting the Award on behalf of the group Prince Kelvin Ayemi popularly known as Tupac described the chairman's achievements as visible and laudable,he futher comended the Chairman for the facelift of the council and the 24hr power supply at the secratariate. That the award is a mark of giving credit and charging him to do more for the people of Bomadi. When receiving the Award in his office the council boss expressed satisfaction on how the cultural festival was handled,he thanked the organizers for their commitment and promised to give them the needed support. As contained in his Independence Day message, Hon. William Angadi expressed his gratitude to God Almighty for making us witness this day. Nigerians, especially the ethnic minorities are still under internal colonialism. There cannot be anything called Independence when some ethnic groups are under the colony of the majority ethnic groups.
