Earlier today, the leadership of the Red Cross Society of Nigeria confered an Honourary Associate Membership Award on Barrister Oweilaemi Pereotubo to mark the international World Youth day in Warri Delta State. The award, according to the leadership of the red cross was conferred on him based on his peaceful disposition during and after his reign as president of the Ijaw Youth Council, quoting the words of Barister Oweilaemi Pereotubo who have always said that "he will do only what ijaw people asked him to do". The leadership of the group also likened him to a "dove" who is peaceful at every given time. While responding, Barrister Oweilaemi Pereotubo called on Nigerian Youth to be law abiding,peaceful and be purposeful as they mark today World Youth day globally.
