REDCROSS SOCIETY HONOURS BARRISTER OWEILAEMI TO MARK INTERNATIONAL WORLD YOUTH DAY.

Earlier today, the leadership of the Red Cross Society of Nigeria confered an Honourary Associate Membership Award on Barrister Oweilaemi Pereotubo to mark the international World Youth day in Warri Delta State.




The award, according to the leadership of the red cross was conferred on him based on his peaceful disposition during and after his reign as president of the Ijaw Youth Council, quoting the words of Barister Oweilaemi Pereotubo who have always said that "he will do only what ijaw people asked him to do".

The leadership of the group also likened him to a "dove" who is peaceful at every given time.

While responding, Barrister Oweilaemi Pereotubo called on Nigerian Youth to be law abiding,peaceful and be purposeful as they mark today World Youth day globally.

He expressed that the Nigerian Youth should rise up to the occasion of solving leadership problems the system is facing, that until they stand up and position themselves for service in the country nothing meaningful will come out from the crop of leadership we have in the country today.

He called out for unity among the youth, that it is only unity among them that will bring the desired change we need he concluded.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves. The story of professor Charlse Dokubo could be likened to Amalanze the cat,that  great wrestler whose back never  touched the ground.
