MY ATTACK WAS INTENTIONAL AND IT WAS DONE BY PEOPLE WHO ARE FAMILLIAR WITH MY TERRAIN ......GOODLUCK JONATHAN


Today 10th of January 2020 the President Ijaw Youth Council worldwide,Barrister Oweilami Pereotubo and other Niger Delta Youth leaders met with the Former Preident of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan at his yenagoa office to strengthen and condemn the attack on his residence at Otueke on the eve of christmas by miscreants.



Speaking on behalf of the youth leaders, Barrister Oweilami Pereotubo said the attack on the Former president is an attack to Ijaw people and a slap to ijaw nation,that the former first family deserve better than this,that the people that carried out the attack did not fall from heaven but people that have flesh and blood.

 He further expressed that they will stop at nothing to unravel the whole truth behind the former  president's attack by gathering and giving intelligent reports to security personnels. He thanked the former president and charged him not  to be deterred by the recent happening and that  he should  be steadfast in pursuing peace in the Nation.

While responding,the former president thanked the group for the solidarity visit and frown at the word that it was a military check point that was attacked,In his words the former president said "how can you say that it was a military check point that was attacked?that is baseless because the military persons were  security  personnel attached to me and the funny part is that they have to follow the water ways,this implies that they are people that are familiar with my terrain,I don't belive the statements making rounds that they came for the guns, which guns are they talking about.? It was a clear attack on me he concluded.

He thanked the group for their support and charged them to be steadfast in their dealings.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
