THE MOST DISTINGUISHED PERSONALITY IN THE YEAR 2019 GOES TO AMBASSADOR KINGSLEY MUTURU

AMBASSADOR KINGSLEY MUTURU GIVES OUT SCHOLARSHIP TO OVER 20 YOUTHS TO STUDY IN HIGHER INSTITUTION OF LEARNING,TRAINS ANOTHER 30 IN SKILLS AQUISITION IN BOMADI.

The Ijaw Youth Vision in their 11th year Ijaw Cultural Festival, had honoured Ambasador Kingsley Muturu with an award of "the most distinguished personality". The award was given to commend and appreciate the contributory efforts he has put in place for the betterment of Ijaw Youths most especially from Bomadi Local Government Area.



The Ambassador who had before now placed over 40 Youth to study in higher institution stepped up the programme by announcing an additional 20 that Wil benefit from the the scheme. The Ambassador also announced the training of 30 youth in tailoring,welding,cake making,scafoĺding,paint production etc.

The beneficiaries of the scheme will be chosen  from a random selection from the organizers of the Ijaw Cultural Festival, the Ijaw Youth Vision (IYV).

Chief Barrister Smooth who handed over the award onbehalf of the organizers described Ambassador Kingsley Muturu as a rare breed and  as an ijaw man that he is will continue to support the Ijaw Cultural Festival on annual basis,that from next he will make the programme so attractive for ijaw people from far and near to come and witness.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
