WE ARE GETTING RESTLESS APPOINT A NEW AMNESTY BOSS,STABILIZE THE NDDC NOW:AMB PREYE TO BUHARI

The leader of the 3rd phase amnesty ex agitators Delta State, Ambasador Preye Ekpebide have called on the president of the federal republic of Nigeria Muhammad Buhari to appoint a substantial boss to coordinate the affairs of the amnesty office,that the continual delay is causing restlessness among ex agitators and the Niger Delta at large.




He decried the continual delay in the appointment of a substantial boss in the amnesty office,that this has caused serious tension among the youths. He further expressed how sad he felt seeing an interventionist agency set aside to develop the region is been saddled with administrative recklessness,directionless,and purposelessness,that Mr President should as a matter of urgency look for and appoint a credible Niger Deltan to take up the responbilty of administration in the office.

On the issue of the Ndcc,Amb Preye expressed dismay and call on Mr President to quickly inaugurate the already constituted board to man the office of the Nddc and as a matter of necessity continue the forensic audit and hold every one culpable for prosecution.

He said this is not a time for complacency and using diversionary measure to subvert the original purpose of  the forensic audit as initiated by Mr President, therefore The Hon Minister for Niger Delta Affairs Sen Godswill Akpabio should step aside or be shown the way out,because one cannot be a judge on his own matter.

AMB Preye further expressed that Niger Delta youths are tired of this continual undervelopment caused by Niger deltans therefore all interventionist agency in  the region should be strengthen so as to achieve its purpose it was created he added.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
