IJAW LAW STUDENTS UNDER THE PRESIDENTIAL AMNESTY PROGRAMME ACROSS THE COUNTRY ARE STRANDED FOR NON PAYMENT OF TUTION FEES.
The president Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide Barrister Oweilaemi Pereotubo wrote on his facebook time line
My attention has been drawn to an unfortunate incident that some Ijaw Law students that are in Law school under the presidential Amnesty programme have not been paid their tuition fees and allowances accrued to them.
According to the report, as i was duely informed that the students have since been abandoned and has not received anything from the office since the resumption of studies in their various law schools across the country.
That they are at the verge of been asked to go back home because of their inability to pay their fees and other things that are supposed to be paid by the amnesty office.
Therefore , It is on this note that i want to appeal to the authorities to attend to the students before they are asked to go back home.
Let us remember that education is the best investment we can give to our youths.
Below are names of the students.
