COMRADE JOSEPH EVAH JOINS OTHER NIGERIANS TO MARK GENERAL AZAZI'S 7TH YEAR MEMORIAL

Yesterday makes it 7 years when one of ijaw finest soldier passed on to glory,his contribution to the ijaw struggle can not be over empahised..



Chief Comrade Joseph Evah made this remark on his Facebook page while immortalizing the General. He wrote.

Yes , 7 years ago,Nigeria lost one of its Giants. A Proud Son of ijaw nation, General Owoye Azazi. The first in Nigeria military History to complete the highest circle of military leadership without breaking the circle..

He was, General officer Commanding (GOC),Chief of Army Staff, Four Star General, Chief of Defence Staff, and National security Adviser (NSA)..Uncommon men like Azazi appear once in a generation.

To mark his 7years memorial, his family invited Nigerians,Organised Xmas Carol, since his untimely death coincided with Xmas period. Evah mobilised some Nigerdelta leaders in Lagos to Azazi home with "Izon Xmas Carol Talking Drums"to perform..

Before going to Late General Azazi Residence, the entourage paid Xmas homage to Another Nigeria Giant in Ikoyi-Lagos within Azazi Neighbourhood, another ijaw icon from Rivers state,Chief AK Hosfall,He was former Director-General of DSS and first Director-General of National Intelligence Agency(NIA),the Nigeria equivalent of America 's CIA..

The Izon cultural Xmas Carol group performed at the Residence of Late General Azazi and Chief Hosfall..The people of NIGERDELTA are proud of the Footprints of our Great Sons and Daughters..May the Soul of General Azazi Rest in peace.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves. The story of professor Charlse Dokubo could be likened to Amalanze the cat,that  great wrestler whose back never  touched the ground. Just as the nature of cats  that survive many battles,so is proffessor Charlse Dokubo.  Since the day he emerged as the Special Adviser to the president on the Amnesty pProgramme there are tens of thousands of petitions to remove him from office that he is incompetent and not be able to address the problems of the Niger Delta.
