DASIMAKA CONSULTS MEINBUTU'S LEADERSHIP AS HE DECLARES TO RUN FOR IYC PRESIDENT.


The Spokesman of the Ijaw Youth Council Comrade Daniel Williams Dasimaka has declared  his intentions to run for the position of the president of the Ijaw Youth council worldwide.



Comrade Dasimaka made this known as he visits western zone to meet with the leadership of Meinbutus in Warri Delta State.

When addressing them,he said "I have been serving Ijaw nation as a boy to a one time president in Council Mabiye Kuromiema" and from over time I have learn the trade of leadership as I was given the opportunity to serve as the Spokesman in Council and since then I have maintained a cordial relationship with council activities and the Ijaw people"

He further expressed that he will role out his manifestoes in due time as he keeps consulting stakeholders in Ijaw nation.

While responding to the team the Chairman of the Meinbutus Enakebi Joseph thanked them for coming to consult him and charged them to go further in reaching out to more Ijaw stakeholders that the forth coming elections is for the unity of Ijaw nation and Ijaw people will work for only those that will speak for ijaw people. 
He blessed the team to become successful in their bid.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
