WE HAVE ENGAGED MORE THAN 95 LOCAL VIGILANTEES TO COMBAT RESTIVENESS IN BOMADI.....ANGADI

The Bomadi Local Government Area Chairman Hon William Angadi has described the present security situation in Bomadi and its environs as unfortunate and needs drastic measures to tackle such sad occurance.

When addressing the press the honourable chairman said that the council has overtime engaged over 95 youths that serves as local vigilantees to curb security related issues in the local government headquarters and its environs and seeing this ugly trend is a sign that the security architecture need overhauling and engaging critical stake holders to fix this culpability where it should be.




He futher expressed that In no distant time we are engaging all the heads of security achitechture in an expanded security meeting where critical stakeholders,community heads will come together on a round table discuss to nip this ugly trend to the bud.

As you see, we can't sit down and fold our hands and watch our children kill themselves all in the name of cultism,this can not be possible,it is our duty as parents to assist the system to tackle societal ills not relying on the security personnels alone.

We shall rely on prompt and intelligence gathering,and also take the fight against criminality to the doorsteps of most families he concluded.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
