SECURITY IS EVERYMAN'S BUISINESS..SSA CHARGES DELTANS TO BE SECURITY CONSCIOUS

The newly appointed Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Governor of Delta State on Security Amb Preye Ekpebide said that for Delta to be safe every individual needs to invest in the security of themselves by been security concious , this he narrated when addressing the Press shortly after he was given his appointment in Asaba Delta State.



Just as the Nigerian Army Flags off Operation Crocodile Smile IV as part of measures towards strengthening its security apparatus and ensuring security of Deltans in Aladja and Ogbe-ijoh communities in Delta State. The SSA said this will go a long way to bring peace between the sister commuinities and also advised that conflict triggers should be looked out for and those who benefits from it too should be brought to book.

As we all know Security of lives and properties is one of the top priority of the Executive Governor of the State who also has  promised the readiness of government to continue to support the operation of the Army in the state to achieve the desired operational success required for peace he added.

for Deltans to curb societal crimes especially  kidnapping, cultism and armed robbery,every Deltan should be concious of their evironment at all times he concluded.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
