NATIONAL YOUTH CORP MEMBERS HONOURS HON KELLY PENAWOU FOR HIS OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE.

Group of Corp members serving under the  Directorate of Local Government Affairs earlier today,  honoured and presented a portrait to the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Delta State on Local Government and Chieftancy affairs Hon Kelly Penawou for his endless assistance rendering to them and his commitment towards ensuring a better local government administration in the State.



According to the leader of the Corp members, Mr David Etim who spoke onbehalf of other Corp members described the special adviser as a man who has put work first before pleasure,and that they have never regretted serving in Delta state and also working with him directly in the directorate.

He further expressed that since his assumption into office the directorate has enjoyed a mutual,cordial relationship among Corp members and staffers,they pray that God will give him the understanding to take the directorate forward.

When responding,the Special Adviser thanked the Corp members for their gesture and pray that they will have a succesfull service year and also that  they should give IN their best all the time,that the directorate also is watching them. He further expressed his commitment to continue in what he believes in and will never deviate from the Smart Agenda of the Governor of Delta State.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves. The story of professor Charlse Dokubo could be likened to Amalanze the cat,that  great wrestler whose back never  touched the ground.
