AMBASSADOR PREYE EKPEBIDE TO COMRADE IGBIFA..GIVE IJAW NATION A VOICE.

The SSA security to the Executive Governor of Delta State Ambasador Preye Ekpebide have called on the newly elected Ijaw Youth National Executive Council to give Ijaw Nation the needed voice In the region.





He called on Comrade Peter Igbifa led exco to wake up to the challenges that are affecting Ijaw people  and set a template on how to achieve them.

Noting that it is only proactiveness and force full agitation can brain meaning full development to the people as a pressure group. 

He also noted that the Oporoza convention have set the wheel straight for Ijaw people to move forward,therefore necessity is now dawn on him to make things work.

He futher advised that the first few days of his reign should be used to tackle all interventionist agencies,look into how these agencies that were originally designed to help the ijaw people have turned out to be cash cows for the North.

He also used the opportunity  to thank the Oporoza commuinty chairman Hon Jonbull who ensured that the town is safe for the elections and also the odokorikodo of Ijaw nation whose presence made the difference at the just concluded elections he added.

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves.
