Comrade Erekake Godspower, chairman of Oporomor Clan who doubles as the Secretary of the Western zone chairmen forum commend all key players before, during and after the hitch-free elections conducted in Oporoza, Gbaramatu kingdom.

While describing the election as the most peaceful and transparent elections ever conducted in IYC.

Stating that these was possible because of the deliberate commitment put in place by key players during these transition process.

The clan chairman specially appreciate Barr. Eric Omare, Barr. Roland Oweilemi, Chief. Frank Akiefa and Comr. Kennedy Olorogun for their relentlessness in driving the Will's that has ushered in a united IYC led by Comr. Peter Timothy Igbifa.

While making the statement, Comr. Erekake Godspower also sends its heartfelt congratulations to all the winners that emerged in the 8th National Exco of council and urged them to make the interests of Ijaw people as their number one priority.

And also to Carry other contestants along in consultation and decision making concerning critical issues facing our people.

Our hope is that these new national exco will break all the barriers of disunity and build a bridge of peace and unity that will usher in growth, progress and development in our region.

While concluding the Chairman also appealed, and said *Oporoza* community should be given a special award of recognition in ijaw land to send a message to other ijaw areas on the need for communal peace for growth and development

A foremost Ijaw activist Comrade Stanley Patrick aka Ogbakiri,a signatory to Kiama declaration and a leader of KOLTA MILITANTS has called on Ijaw leaders to call Proffesor Charlse Dokubo to order and also ask the contractors handling the Bomadi Skill Aquisition centre to quickly complete the project so that Niger Delta youths can benefit from the scheme. Ogbakiri lamented how the project is been slowed down despit the huge amount that is been pumped in to complete it,he said about 85 percent of the total contract sum have been given to the contractors and these contractors instead of doing their jobs they are busy enriching themselves and building mansions for themselves. The story of professor Charlse Dokubo could be likened to Amalanze the cat,that  great wrestler whose back never  touched the ground.
