Sir, AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI TO INVESTIGATE, PROSECUTE THE INVASION OF THE MILITARY ON FROPA COMMUNITY AND THE SETTING UP OF EMERGENCY SETTLEMENTS AND FOOD. It is with a broken heart and tears in my eyes that I am bringing this gruesome and unholy military action taken by the Nigerian Army on our people in Fropa community in Southern Ijaw Local Government(LGA) of Bayelsa State destroying homes with thousands of families fleeing the community. As a Beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programmes, we must take into consideration of some critical departments in the Office, if we really want the program to succeed. I represent the voice of the Voiceless as far as am concerned.  Why every SA fall into temptations, after occupying the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta and the Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme? As a people, we fail to identify problems in the Amnesty office. The leaders of various phases 1, 2 & 3 and the critical stakeholders of the Presidential Amnesty Programme need to have a rethink , if they really want the Amnesty Programme to succeed. Then, we need to do something different and get different results for the sake of posterity. BEKEWEI AJUWA NOMINATED AS IYC ELECO CHAIRMAN

Bekewei Ajuwa nominated as Chairman of IYC National Electoral Committee.  Arogbo born Lawyer, Bekewei Ajuwa has been nominated as Chairman of the nine member IYC Electoral Committee to conduct the 2020 National Elections of the foremost Ijaw Youth Organisation, the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide.  The nomination of Bekewei Ajuwa which was sequel to a peace accord reached by all critical stakeholders of the IYC to allow Leaders of the IYC in the Western Zone nominate the Chairman of the Electoral Committee was confirmed by both Peretuobo Oweilaemi and Eric Omare.  The IYC will have a National Convention tomorrow Friday February 28, 2020 at Sagbama,  Bayelsa State to ratify the Electoral Committee nominees to formally start the electoral process. The Convention will kick off at 10am in the morning.

BOMADI YOUTH PRESIDENT LED OTHER YOUTH LEADERS TO STORM BEDEC OFFICE IN UGHELLI.

The Bomadi Youth President Comrade Lucky Ebiwarebo led other youth leaders to the Bedec office in Ughelli to lay their grievances over the constant delay in the lighting up of Bomadi and its environments. Speaking on behalf of other youth leaders comrade Lucky Ebiwarebo laid the complains of the aggrieved persons in the local government area that they are tired of listening to rumors over the light issue so they have come to verify from the office. He further expressed claims that from facts available to him, that the honourable commissioner for power and energy Hon Basil Ganagana said the government of the day have completed every transaction concerning the light issue in Bomadi and the bulk of complain should be given to the Bedec, that also the executive chairman Hon William Angadi has also paid all necessary bills the Bedec asked for but he is still shocked to see that nothing has been done so far. IYC PAYS VISIT TO ROAD SAFETY COMMAND, BAYELSA STATE OVER OFTEN COMPLAINS FROM TRICYCLES (KEKE-NAPE) RAIDERS

It has turned to a tradition as officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Bayelasa State harassed Tricycle Raiders popularly known as Keke-Nape in the State unlawfully. The Chairman Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Central Zone, Comr. Kennedy Olorogun and his executive today paid official visit to the State Command Headquarters, Yenegoa. Comr. Olorogun bitterly established his displeasure over the often complains received from Keke-Nape  and others on how officers of the FRSC collect harassed and oppressed the them while doing their genuine business. The State Commander of the agency disassociated themselves from such act on behalf of his agents, and promised to do a thorough investigation and hold an expanded meeting with Leadership of IYC in the zone, Keke raiders and other concern parties to address the resolve these. HON KELLY PENAWOU MONITORS THE ONGOING IMMUNIZATION PROGRAM FLAGGED BY THE DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT.

The Special Adviser to the executive governor of Delta State on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon Kelly Penawou  earlier today visited over four local government area headquarters to monitor the ongoing immunization programme flagged by the Executive Governor of Delta State Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa in all the local government areas in the State for children between the ages of 0 to 5 years. The Special Adviser,his PS and staffs of the Directorate of Local Government Affairs, monitored the immunisation exercise going on across the state.  On their stop over at Umunede the Executive secretary primary healthcare Dr Paul Uduhun described the exercise as welcoming and give kudos to the workaholic governor. COMMUNITY POLICING IS THE BEST WAY TO CURB INSECURITY IN BOMADI LGA.. OBIE

The Senior Special Assistant to the the Executive Governor of Delta State on security Hon Prince Godwin Obie has said that the best way to curb insecurity in Bomadi LGA and Delta state at large is the implementation of proper community policing. This he spoke to news men through a telephone chat with Kpooka Media Reporters that the prevalent security situation in the LGA is alarming and there is an urgent need for community policing to come to stay in the state. Outlining the pros of the initiative Hon Prince Godwin Obie said that community policing will not only employ teeming youths but also engage them in meaningful service to themselves and to the state.
